The jeans stop at mid-calf and the tall boots continue underneath, leaving no gap between the two. Brown keeps that line continuous; cobalt breaks up the earth tones. Cropped denim can do winter too.
Violet appears in the bag, then again in the laces of the red trainers. That small repeat connects two strong colours, with ecru denim leaving room around them. Sometimes it comes down to the laces.
The lilac tunic runs past the jacket, leaving a diagonal lace edge over the jeans. Grey knit and brown leather take the ceremony out of satin. Delicate fabric needn’t mean dinner plans.
Black lapels and gold jacquard bring plenty of ceremony. Washed jeans, wide and slightly long, bring it back to earth; the white tee keeps the join with the jacket clean. Every dressy piece needn’t set the dress code.
The red hat catches the eye first, but the black was already doing plenty. The coat’s fuzzy trim, the knit and the washed denim separate the layers without changing colour. One accent is enough when there’s texture underneath.
Double denim takes the shape of a suit: short jacket, pleats and a near-identical blue. The pink shirt and red tie sharpen that reading; cream trainers loosen it just enough. The office uniform is open to revision.
